Registration 8:00 to 9:45 AM

• The ride is an AMA sanctioned event and its 5 ^th year in the Triangle.

• The ride is NON-STOP from start to finish as it is lead by officers from the Cary Motorcycle Division.

• Ride duration is about 70 minutes traveling 50 miles via some nice country roads.

• All bikes must be street legal; all riders must wear helmets. Minors must have the AMA waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian

Registration Opens - White Oak Recreation Area, Jordan Lake State Park

Registration Closes - There is a brief riders’ meeting before the ride begins to explain the riding safety recommendations.  Complimentary coffee & donuts are available.

Ride Begins - Although funds are raised all year for the Ride for Kids® , we focus upon the patient survivors (Stars) and their families on the day of the ride. We solicit sidecars and trikes to carry our “Stars’ … and they ride at the front behind the Cary motorcycle unit..

10:25 - 10:40

Spectator Point, Courthouse, Pittsboro, NC - The 2009 ride will include a ‘loop-back’ around the Pittsboro, NC courthouse so the kids in front will pass all the bikes ‘behind’ them.

Arrival back at White Oak - The ride ends with a Celebration of Life under a big top tent. A light lunch is provided upon arrival after which you will hear from the kids, their parents, and their doctors

Completion of the 2009 Triangle Area Ride for Kids®
